Heimdal app for iPhone and iPad

Application to perform remote control of Lauritzen Inc controllers.

The Heimdal app will connect to a companion Lauritzen controller on the same local network. It will scan the local network and display the names of compatible Lauritzen controllers that it finds. It does this by broadcasting a UDP message and waiting for valid responses. Within the app, the user can then select which controller to interface with.

Once the app has found a Lauritzen controller the user can transmit control commands and/or receive controller status information.

An example application would be with the Lauritzen controller hooked up to a solar tracker. The ios device can function as a remote control to calibrate the position of the solar panel and monitor the status of the tracker.
